Biere de Mars. We are proud to welcome back a lovely brew from one of Chicagoland’s craft beer pioneers. Biere de Mars (March beer) is a style French farmers produced for quick consumption in late winter & spring. Leading with a light farmhouse funk on the nose, the malty backbone is balanced by a refreshingly dry mouthfeel. Very sessionable.

Kolsch style-ale. A crisp, thirst-quenching, & refreshing German-style ale with mellow malt sweetness balanced with a delicate, spicy, & floral hop profile. Light-bodied & crushable. This beer won a bronze medal at the Great American Beer Festival in the German-style Kolsch category in 2016.
AROUND THE BEND – MR. MARMALADE  .  Chicago, IL/ abv 8.8/ 12oz snifter/ 7
Imperial IPA (double IPA) that is brewed with Seville oranges, orange blossom & honey.  Imperial IPAs usually start sweet & this one is no exception.  The orange & honey give it a rich summery sweetness that gives way to a hard, lingering bitterness in the finish.  The beer has big body, great aroma & a real classic Imperial feel.

Zwickelbier. A fresh, cloudy lager with ale-like complexity and a soft bite on the finish. Fermentation vessels feature a sample valve, known as the “Zwickel” in German. Brewers use the valve to sample the beer as it ferments to check for progress and quality, so why can’t we?
